Below is our price list.

A word of warning to those looking for cheap prices on meat.  We raise quality products from quality breeds so we price accordingly.  We evaluate local market prices and price our meats according to the quality breeds that we raise.

Our lamb is the Katahdin breed which we think is the best meat breed for lamb there is.  If you've said you don't like lamb, then you've not tried the Katahdin breed. 

Our beef is Belted Galloway Grass Fed-Beef.  These steers take 3 years before they are ready to eat.  The flavor of the beef tells the story.  Even the ground beef will make the best hamburger you've ever tasted.

Our rabbit is Silver Fox Rabbit which we think is an exceptional meat rabbit.

Our chickens will vary.  At times we will have traditional cornish cross chickens which are superb when raised on pasture.  Other times we will have a chicken called a Freedom Ranger which takes twice as long to grow out but has an even more intense chicken flavor.  

Our pork will vary as we do not own breeding stock but will buy piglets to raise on pasture.

Our laying hens are heritage breeds with vibrant colored eggs and so while the eggs are fantastic the hens do not lay consistently and therefore are not as productive as other breeds.  We think you should enjoy the color of your egg shells as much as the eggs themselves.

 

Vegetable CSA : 20 weeks of fresh veggies - $600 plus 16 hrs of farm work or $800 - SOLD OUT for 2010

Meat CSA: $7.50/lb for 10 lbs of meat per month over 6 months- 60 lbs total  - Pay $450 upfront for entire 6 months

$7.00/lb for 15lbs or more meat per month CSA over 6 months - Payable up front - 15 lbs/month = 90 lbs = $630

Meat CSA will include grass fed lamb, grass fed beef, pastured pork, pastured poultry.  We will mix up the variety and cuts each month.  No organs - just cuts, steaks, roasts, ground, sausage and whole chicken.

Whole lamb: $8.00/lb hanging weight - sausage extra per butcher prices (currently $1.99/lb extra)

$10/lb kabobs - shoulder meat

$9/lb lamb sausage

Whole hog or 1/2 hog: $3.50/lb plus processing costs (this will vary- call us for details)

$8/lb whole hog sausage - sage, italian and apple sausage

Pastured chickens:  $4.50/lb - whole chickens only.  Buy 5 chickens and get 1 free.

Pastured turkeys:  $4.50/lb - bronze broad breasted turkey 

Rabbit:  $10/lb - Waiting list - email to be put on waiting list

Free range eggs - $5.00 dozen  20 week egg share = $80 for 20 dozen eggs

 

The BEST OFFER and the BEST way to try our meats!

'Box O Meat":  $7.00/lb - a sampler of 20, 30, 40 lbs - mix of ground beef, roasts, steaks, chicken, lamb, pork

$8.00/lb - same sampler as above but 10 lbs, $7.50/lb for 15 lb sampler
