Green Akeys is a small, diversified family farm located near Westminster, Maryland.  We raise grass-fed beef, grass-fed lamb, pastured pork, pastured poultry, a vegetable CSA, meat CSA and we have farm fresh eggs.  

We belong to Slow Food USA, the American Pastured Poultry Producers Association (APPPA)(Mike is a Board member), Belted Galloway Society, Katahdin Hair Sheep International, PASA, Future Harvest CASA and the American Grassfed Association.  

Our mission is to provide a healthy, sustainable alternative to conventionally farmed and raised products.  We encourage our members to support local agriculture, not only supporting our farm but all of the local farms in our area.  We also want to raise our kids to understand where food comes from and how to live on a farm.

Our products are available here on the farm and our eggs are available at Giulianova Groceria in downtown Westminster, Maryland.

If you would like to learn more about grass fed and pastured meats and have friends who want to do the same, then host us at your house and we'll talk about our product, how to cook it and why it's so good for you.  We'll bring samples to taste as well as meat that you can buy.  As a thank you, the host will receive 10% of the total sales towards your own meat purchases.  It's what we call our WIN/WIN/WIN offer.  We win by adding to our customer base, you win because you get some free meat and your friends win because they get a party at your house and will be welcomed into world of fantastic meat.
